We wrote the
book "Keep Calm and Carry On" to raise people's awareness to the
choices we each have over our emotions and attitude.
After years of working
with people on training courses, leadership development
programmes and one-to-one executive coaching, we still find that
the notion of choosing our own emotions is challenging to many
people.
Many people we work with
would argue that their emotions are forced on to them by:
- The weather
- Their boss
- Other people
- Travel and transport
- Bad news
In line with much of the
work around Emotional Intelligence (popularised by Daniel
Goleman), we believe that self-leadership
is the cornerstone to being successful in life and business.
Self-leadership is also
paramount to success as a leader - not only for those
leading other people, but those leading just themselves (eg
graduate entrants).
Part of self-leadership is
being able to choose a resourceful emotion
("keep calm") and do something
rather than nothing ("carry on").
Our book was designed as a
light-hearted introduction to the topic of self leadership but
there is much more available.
Below are listed the other
services we can offer that help you or your organisation Keep
Calm and Carry On!
